“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
The statement above was stated by the only living religious leader, Jesus Christ, Yahushua HaMassiach, referred to in our previous article Seeking God.
Jesus Christ is the only person who lived, died, resurrected and ascended out of this planet into heaven. Therefore, He reserves the
right to be this assertive about His knowledge of the way to the Father in this verse of scripture. He is the way, the truth and the
life. So, what are His instructions to us concerning getting on the path to the Father? His instructions are simple. All He asks is
for us to believe in the fact that He is the Messiah or Christ, the One who was sent to deliver humanity from sins, and accept Him as
our personal Savior and Lord.
Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
A refusal to acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus, and accept Him as Lord, is the fundamental sin which we must overcome before we can
truly overcome any other sins. If you are willing to get started on the only way to the Father by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord
and Savior, please say this prayer sincerely from your heart.
“Lord Jesus, I recognize that I have been a sinner, refusing to accept You as my Lord and Savior. I repent of this sin and confess
You as my Lord, Master and Boss. I believe that You were raised from the dead for my justification to connect me back to the Father
God. I receive my forgiveness and my salvation by faith right now. Thank You for saving me in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen”
If you prayed this prayer sincerely from the heart, we believe you have been born again, and we welcome you into the family of God.
