One could consider the strategic location of our planet to appreciate the existence of an intelligent Creator. Our scientists report that if the earth were
just a little farther from the sun, all of us would freeze to death; and, if it were just a little closer to the sun, all of us would roast. Also, they report
that this planet is strategically placed at a certain axial angle to maintain its revolution around the sun and rotation around its axis. If tilted just
slightly further to the left or the right, it would completely spin off. This is no accident.
Man-made systems such as cars, airplanes, cell phones, which are not as complicated as God’s creation, all work in concert because of intelligent design. We
give our scientists and engineers credit because of these man-made systems, and we are honest enough to recognize their work and admit to the fact that they
exist. We need to be just as honest to admit that an intelligent being is responsible for the concert of creation.
We must consider the wonders of creation, the uniqueness of the human body and the precision at which all of creation works together and recognize that there
must be a God somewhere. We may not know this God yet, but we cannot afford to lie to ourselves to deny the existence of God. An intelligent Creator made all
of creation, and we must acknowledge the existence of such a Creator with this baseline level of honesty.
The wonders of creation are no accidents of nature. We would all admit that it takes a lot of intelligence to design natural systems. It takes a deliberate
effort to design a car, manufacture an airplane or construct an ocean-liner. If we can admit to this fact, it should not be difficult to admit to the fact
that some intelligent person employed some level of intelligence to create the material world we can see around us. Would you like to know more about this
creator? If you answered "Yes" to this question, we want to invite you to read the next article titled:
Seeking After God.
